About
Our God Is So Big is a reimagining of the children's folk song "My God Is So Big" chosen to open the Prayers of the People record. We arranged the lyrics to be a more corporate expression of worship through "Our" instead of "My" and added two additional acts to the song: "Our God Is So Near" and an intimate outro of "O God Beyond All Praising" which is yet also based on Gustav Holst's "Jupiter" (which you may recognize from the Bluey episode "Sleepytime").
We also had a chance to use Jacob Collier's Audience Choir software instrument, for which he recorded 100,000+ voices across his world tour and made available for free. Many thanks, Jacob!
Ultimately, Our God Is So Big is the perfect orientation to an intercessory liturgy for all things.
