🌅 Art Done, Recording and Publisher?!
#1: Recording
Today is the first day of recording the album for Good Night, God with producer Paul Demer. We’ll be getting all the project files, arrangements, keys, and tempos pinned down for when the rest of the band comes in to record. Here’s a sneak peek in case you missed it last time.
#2: Artwork is done!
After weeks of fine-tuning, cross-referencing, and pixel-pushing, the artwork is pretty dang well done. Encompassing the contemplative prayer of Examen, emotional awareness, and prayer for tomorrow, I’m really proud of how this book turned out and I look forward to sharing it with you all.
#3: And maybe a publisher?!
This is the part that’s nuts to me. Just as I was about to submit the manufacturing order, I got an email from a well respected national publisher I reached out to months ago saying they love the book and want to talk about publishing it.
Granted, there are some significant conditions requested that I need to consider, but it’s incredibly affirming of the project overall. If you happen to have experience with publishers, I’d be curious to hear more.
